If you have been experiencing difficulty in treating patients, or if you would like to know more about how to conduct supervisory consultations, I may be able to be useful.

For many years, I have offered supervisory consultations for psychotherapists and psychoanalysts and I have found that each therapist and patient create a unique relationship.   Empathic listening as developed by self psychology is the cornerstone of my work, although I rely heavily on ego psychology for understanding the way our personalities function. I am interested in the parallel process of enactment that takes place during therapy and supervision, mostly outside conscious awareness.  I have read widely in the areas of attachment theory, object relations theory, relational psychoanalysis and the modern Kleinian approach.
